Stephen Bent spent 15+ years working across recruitment and elite sport, including roles with the FAI, FIFA and clubs such as Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Leicester City, Bristol City, Bolton Wanderers, Portsmouth, Queens Park Rangers, Shamrock Rovers, Bohemian FC and Shelbourne. As a FIFA Licensed Football Agent, he built relationships across Irish and UK sport, and saw first-hand how hard it is to hire well in an industry that runs on trust rather than volume.
That experience became Reliance Careers, founded as part of Reliance Sports Group to give clubs, governing bodies and sporting organisations a recruitment partner who understands the game as well as the hire.
